Google Earth

Google Earth is an incredibly amazing tool that basically gives you virtual 3d interface access to ANY part of the world. Acquired from Keyhole, Google makes use of satellite imagery, maps, 3d effects and the logistics of Google Search to bring you a program that is just spectacular. You can take a trip to the beaches of Florida, re-visit your hometown, visit historical landmarks, or even look at the exact route you need to take in order to get to the closest grocery store. Google Earth can serve an abundance of purposes from personal use to business related. Try out Google Earth today!

I downloaded Google Earth just the other day and messed around with it the whole day (I forgot to eat dinner). You may want to take a look at the system requirements because if you have an older computer Google Earth may not be able to run on it. Google Earth is best run on an ATI graphics card (GoogleDude™ has an ATI 9600 All-in Wonder Pro :-P ) and currently Apple PCs are not supported.

Here's a quick screen shot of my house and neighborhood:

Want to take a trip to Bagdad and see the Former Republic Palace in Iraq?

Is that the pool that Saddam used to swim in?
Hmmm....I wonder what happened to that statue?

Has anyone else tried out Google Earth yet?
